Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a highly adaptable Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF/IS programs with deployments to overseas locations. The role requires managing mobile staff, volunteers, and coordinated emergency communications for U.S.

military members and families. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus at least five years of program management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years related experience in program management or related field.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong computer skills; proficient in communicating clearly in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency communication messages and support services to military members and families.
• Monitor and document program activities; prepare reports and analyze trends for improvement.
• Build relationships with military leadership, installation partners, and community stakeholders.
• Recruit, mentor, and supervise volunteers; manage engagement lifecycle and compliance.
• Supervise service delivery teams to ensure high quality program impact and alignment with mission needs.
• Maintain deployment readiness; support SAF/IS objectives during overseas deployments.
