Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a highly adaptable Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF/IS programs overseas. The role involves deployment to U.S. military installations, strict medical and security clearances, and living on base locations in challenging environments.

You will manage services for military members and families, and coordinate volunteer resources. Ideal candidates will have five years of program management experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, health sciences, or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years of related program management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and public speaking ability.
• Familiarity with military culture, regulations, and protocol is strongly desired.
• Experience with Red Cross programs and services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer delivery of Red Cross services for U.S. military members, veterans, and families.
• Lead SAF/IS program activities including IHL, YAC and RFL within the area of responsibility.
• Coordinate emergency communication casework and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
• Oversee volunteer engagement, onboarding, training, supervision, and recognition.
• Support deployment logistics, readiness, and contingencies for mobile teams.
