Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a highly adaptable Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF/IS programs overseas. You will deploy to U.S.

military installations, manage program delivery, supervise volunteers, and coordinate emergency communications for service members and families. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in program management, plus strong computer, speaking, and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required; or related equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five years related experience in program management or related field is required.
• A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
• Requires strong computer skills. Public speaking skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver American Red Cross services to meet the needs of United States military members, veterans, and their families in accordance with Red Cross policies and procedures.
• Facilitate the delivery of emergency communication messages and related support services to military members and their families.
• Coordinate outreach through command briefings, education sessions, presentations, and one-on-one engagements.
• Supervise volunteer service delivery teams and mentor leadership volunteers to support SAF/IS and other programs.
• Support deployment readiness, mobility readiness, and coordination of educational briefings and workshops.
