Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF and IS programs overseas. This role requires deploying to U.S. military installations and working in austere environments, with strict medical and security clearances.

You will manage services to military members and families, coordinate volunteer teams, and ensure procedural compliance across deployments. Ideal candidates bring five years of program management experience, strong computer and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required.
• Minimum five years related experience in program management or a related field.
• Strong computer skills; public speaking and written communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate emergency communication messages and related support to military members and families.
• Monitor and document program activities and reporting; identify trends and improvements.
• Build relationships with military leadership, command staff, and installation partners.
• Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and recognize volunteers; manage engagement lifecycle.
• Oversee delivery of Red Cross programs to service members, veterans, and families; ensure high-impact outcomes.
• Serve as deployable SAF Mobile Team member for 6-month overseas assignments and maintain readiness.
