Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Regional Product Support Engineer to be the backbone of technical support for field engineers and product support personnel in the Taylor, Texas region. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving issues with Lam's critical equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and service performance.

You will work across on-site and remote settings, mentor teams, and lead escalations with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and operation manuals.
• Knowledge of Spin Clean or Wet Clean is a plus.
• Proficient with data analysis, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
• Formulate root cause hypotheses with data-driven actions.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to field engineers and product support personnel.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, repairs, and debugs complex electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Drives actions at customer sites to resolve escalations and prevent repeats.
• Mentors field and account engineers and may conduct training sessions.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required by business needs.
