Responsibilities

• Oversees the technical support of company customers by field engineers, technicians, and support specialists; diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro/mechanical equipment, software systems, or networking systems.
• Supervises engineers and ensures they stay current with upgrades and new releases; maintains communication with design engineering and software development on design, reliability and maintenance issues.
• May be involved in customer installation and training programs; selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
