Job summary

Lam Research in Austin, TX seeks a Regional Product Support Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electro-mechanical equipment. You’ll support field engineers and technicians, travel up to 40%, and collaborate with global teams. A background in wafer handling/robotics and C++/Python programming is required.

The role is onsite with flexible hybrid work options, supporting Lam’s product platforms across Etch, Deposition, and Clean families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or equivalent with semiconductor equipment experience.
• Mechatronics/robotics experience required.
• Programming in C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to highly technical products for customers/users.
• Builds customer confidence with credible recommendations and understanding.
• Shares knowledge within Lam’s technical community and mentors engineers.
• Designs or conducts training sessions for field and account engineers.
• Handles platform field escalations with primary/secondary support for Lam platforms.
