Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to drive site and region capacity, cost, quality, and customer experience improvements through benchmarking, auditing, standard-work optimization, and pilots.

The role links the region to the SSD Field Programs team, partnering with program management, tech and support teams. 50–80% travel within the US is expected and strong data-driven storytelling to senior leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain or related field
• Experience working in an operations, supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role
• Experience in lean or six sigma methodologies for operational, process, and performance improvement projects including process mapping and process re-design
• Experience handling multiple competing priorities and complex projects with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly benchmarking cycles to drive site level process path improvements.
• Drive KPIs through regional DBR/WBR and support Field Programs pilots in the region.
• Lead a quarterly regional improvement project tackling a problem or opportunity aligned with the GM.
• Own an annual network improvement project and participate in quarterly SSD ACES process paths kaizens.
• Develop trust relationships with all OMs, SLs, and GMs in the region.
• Mentor leaders from the region and support interviewing talent to the region when possible.
