Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an experienced Regional Process Improvement Manager to partner with operations and commercial teams on the West Coast to drive continuous improvement and quality. The role travels ~75% across eight plants, supporting safety, process yield, and product quality improvements.

Based near one of eight sites, you will coach Plant Quality Managers, implement corrective actions, and lead initiatives like 5S, Gemba, and Blue Diamond programs while working with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Experience managing quality systems.
• Experience using continuous improvement methodologies to develop and implement process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience influencing employees at various levels of the organization to lead change.
• Experience using statistical tools for data analysis (Power BI, Excel, Mini Tab).
• Root cause analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local site leadership and Quality Managers at multiple facilities, in-person and remotely.
• Develop, implement, and communicate strategies, goals, objectives and systems to drive performance.
• Lead problem solving and resolution of top quality issues and sustain corrective actions.
• Evaluate and recommend changes to increase process yield and product consistency.
• Coach plant Quality Managers to grow in their roles.
• Ensure continuous improvement goals are met with effective control plans.
• Track and report quality performance using statistical techniques.
• Champion 5S initiatives.
• Lead Gemba rollouts.
• Lead Blue Diamond action plan initiatives.
