Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction team is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to serve as Amazon's senior owner's representative during the preconstruction phase of facility delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading complex industrial preconstruction projects across cross-functional teams.
• Strong budgeting, design management, and procurement oversight capabilities.
• Experience coordinating with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Finance and Construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage cross-functional industrial pre-construction projects from site selection through design completion and contract execution.
• Coordinate with stakeholders (Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, Construction, Finance, Launch/Startup, architects and permitting agencies) to secure resources and milestones.
• Oversee design management end-to-end including evaluations, conformance reviews and value engineering.
• Own project budgets and oversee spend approvals; perform conceptual estimating, pricing reviews, schedule tracking and cashflow forecasting.
• Lead external partner selection, contract negotiations and procurement functions; manage vendors and external consultants.
• Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction for permitting, zoning, and building code compliance; review lease agreements and site-specific terms.
