Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Regional Supervisor – Power Delivery to provide leadership and technical oversight for our Substation engineering teams across the United States. The role emphasizes recruiting, mentoring, and delivering EHV substation projects while collaborating with multiple offices and the GDC.

The candidate will lead a high-performing Power Delivery group, drive safety and quality, and coordinate with leadership on strategic growth and workload planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of electrical engineering and design experience for Power Delivery.
• Experience with Extra High Voltage (EHV) substation systems preferred; asset.
• Professional Engineering designation in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Ability to travel periodically to Stantec offices and sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical oversight for Substation engineering teams.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor staff across US offices.
• Deliver medium to EHV substation and transmission project work.
• Collaborate with Power Delivery leadership, project managers, and clients.
• Manage workload and resources across US regions.
• Support pursuits, staffing plans and project delivery strategies.
• Foster collaboration, safety, and continuous learning across geographies.
