CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Substation Physical Engineer and Regional Technical Leader to guide HV substation design and project delivery. You will lead a team of engineers, act as the Engineer of Record, and drive technical excellence across multiple offices.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with clients to deliver world-class electrical infrastructure projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related discipline; PE license is required.
• 15 years of related experience in power delivery and HV substations.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, execution, and delivery of HV substation projects from 13.8kV to 345kV.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and technical authority for substation physical design.
• Mentor engineers and designers; oversee staffing and performance.
• Support business development and client relationships; ensure quality and standards.
