Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Regional Supervisor – Power Delivery to lead and provide technical oversight for our U.S. Substation engineering teams. This role combines people leadership, project delivery, and collaboration across the Energy & Resources organization.

The position is based in any Stantec Energy & Resources office with regular in-office presence, requiring coordination across geographies to meet project delivery needs and grow the Power Delivery practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering and design with Power Delivery focus.
• Experience with Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations at 500 kV+ is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Professional Engineering designation in at least one US jurisdiction required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee substation design and engineering deliverables.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and evaluate team members and plan career growth.
• Balance workload across US offices and coordinate resources with Power Delivery leadership.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Support project pursuits, planning, and staffing strategies.
