Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced Regional Supervisor – Power Delivery to provide leadership and technical oversight for its U.S. Substation engineering teams.

The role focuses on high- and mid-voltage projects, coordinating across offices to deliver complex designs and ensure safe, compliant execution. Ideal candidates have 15+ years in electrical engineering for Power Delivery, with EHV substation experience (500 kV+ preferred) and a US PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years of electrical engineering and design experience with Power Delivery.
• Experience with Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations, 500 kV+ preferred.
• At least 3 years of leadership of engineering or project-focused teams.
• Professional Engineering designation in at least one US jurisdiction; ability to obtain registration elsewhere.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee substation design and engineering deliverables.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and coach staff; manage performance.
• Coordinate workload and resources across US offices and geographies.
• Promote HSSE priorities and ensure project delivery aligns with schedules and budgets.
• Support project pursuits, proposals, and staffing plans to enable competitive delivery.
