Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Regional Supervisor – Power Delivery to lead and oversee substation engineering across the U.S. This role emphasizes technical leadership, staff development, and strong collaboration with project teams and leadership.

The position requires 15+ years in electrical engineering, experience with 500 kV EHV, and a PE designation. This on-site role supports growth and client delivery from multiple offices across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 15+ years of electrical engineering and design experience with power delivery projects.
• Experience with Extra High Voltage (EHV) substation systems is preferred.
• Professional Engineering designation in at least one US jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Lead substation design and engineering deliverables for HV/EHV projects, including layout, grounding, and switchyard work.
• Provide leadership and technical oversight across the US Substation team.
• Recruit, mentor, train, and develop staff for project delivery and growth.
• Ensure HSSE priority in all activities and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
