The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of PEIMS experience, strong Excel and data management skills, and a commitment to organizational improvement in collaboration with TEA and regional LEAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree in education, computer science, or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of database or PEIMS experience (required)
• Experience with TEA student data standards and TSDS PEIMS reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of student information systems used by Texas school districts.
• Ability to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot student data to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely student records and data submissions (PEIMS).
• Provide targeted technical assistance and training for LEA staff on supported software and reporting tools.
• Deliver high-quality technical support and customer service to LEA and ESC staff via on-site, virtual, or written communication.
• Serve as Regional PEIMS Coordinator, supporting districts with data accuracy and submission timelines.
