Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Regional Manager for the East US and Canada to lead a team of district managers, data managers, and project engineers. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and financial performance while building strong Sales-Operations partnerships to grow the region.

Responsibilities include overseeing service and data-based projects across multiple districts, setting performance expectations, fostering engagement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in related industry.
• Minimum 3–5 years managing managers and leading multi-site or multi-territory operations.
• PMP certification required.
• Experience managing P&L responsibilities and key financial metrics.
• Travel within the region up to 25%.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service and data based project management for water and sewer infrastructure monitoring through a team of direct-report managers within multiple geographic districts.
• Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback, support, and accountability.
• Foster employee engagement, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Drive execution of company initiatives, strategic initiatives and operational standards across the region.
• Own the regional financial performance and achievement of Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

• Accurately forecast performance, collaborate cross-functionally to refine assumptions, and enhance accuracy and reliability.
• Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps at the District or Region level.
• Utilize data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
• Represent the company in the region to suppliers, customers, and statutory bodies so as to promote the products, services, and activities of the organization.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service through the use of project work plans and necessary project reviews on every project within the region.
• Review, modify and approve project pricing developed by the project managers for the region.
• Support and participate in the development of and compliance with corporate policies, procedures, decisions and activities.
• Complete special projects as requested.
