You will guide a unionized workforce, advocate for customer-focused outcomes, and partner with leadership to evolve processes and performance in a fast-paced network environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a telecom/utility environment.
• Proven ability to train, coach and mentor in a union setting.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, email, word processing, and legacy systems.
• Understanding of residential and business services and network processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of outside and inside plant network services and technicians.
• Serve as primary liaison between Forged Fiber and Contractors to resolve issues.
• Lead training and development focused on new processes and quality standards.
• Direct a team of technicians to meet attendance and performance goals.
• Represent Forged Fiber with customers and government agencies.
• Collaborate with the union to achieve constructive working relationships.
• Celebrate successes and implement rewards and recognition programs.
• Motivate the team toward continuous improvement.
