Job summary

Forged Fiber seeks a Supervisor Region Operations to manage technicians in defined service areas and deliver quality residential and business communications at a profitable level. Build and mentor a skilled, customer-focused team driving Forged Fiber 37 products and services while exceeding customer expectations.

The role emphasizes training, coaching, safety, and performance, with responsibilities including contractor liaison and government interactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing teams within a telecom technical environment (4+ years).
• Strong skills and experience in employee development including training, coaching and mentoring in a union environment.
• Computer skills including Excel, email, Word, and legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of outside and inside plant network services and technicians for residential and business services.
• Serve as the single point of contact between Forged Fiber and Contractors to resolve issues.
• Lead training, coaching and development to meet quality standards and safety.
• Lead a team of technicians to meet attendance and performance standards.
• Represent Forged Fiber with customers and government agencies.
• Collaborate with the union to maintain win-win relationships.
• Celebrate successes and recognize achievements.
• Motivate the team for continuous improvement and high performance.
