Job summary

AvantStay, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Area Manager to support the Area Manager across AvantStay properties in the designated market. You will audit properties, manage supplies, and promptly respond to guest and owner concerns to ensure a superior experience.

The role requires residing in the designated area, frequent in-market travel, and weekend/holiday availability. Strong communication and coordination with the in-market team are essential to maintain AvantStay standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Vacation rental industry experience.
• Ability and availability to work weekends and holidays, with a flexible schedule.
• Ability to spend a majority of time standing, walking, and driving to properties.
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the local manager and acting as market lead in their absence.
• Serve as point of contact for property owners and review owner distribution statements.
• Maintain AvantStay standards and metrics related to owner satisfaction.
• Coordinate with in-market team on training, coaching, and evaluating field operations staff.
• Monitor guest/owner issues and ensure timely resolution with quality outcomes.
• Proactively identify issues at properties and assign rectification tasks to staff.
• Perform essential administrative duties to support daily operations.
• Coordinate housekeeping and routine maintenance tasks at properties.
• Ensure inventories of consumables and linens are adequate.
• Conduct regular property inspections for compliance with standards.
• Respond to guest and homeowner inquiries via email, Slack, calls, or tickets.
• Frequent travel within the designated area to support operations.
• Be on call after hours for market support.
