Job summary

AvantStay seeks an Assistant Area Manager to support property operations in the designated North Carolina market. You will audit properties, manage supplies, and respond to guest and owner concerns to ensure a superior experience.

Reside within a short drive of AvantStay rentals and be prepared to travel regularly. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coordinating housekeeping, inspections, and daily operations while upholding AvantStay standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Ability and availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Area Manager and act as market lead in absence.
• Communicate with property owners and review distributions.
• Maintain AvantStay standards and owner satisfaction metrics.
• Train and coach in-market operations staff.
• Resolve guest or homeowner issues within designated timeframes.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate rectifications.
• Perform non-manual admin duties to support daily operations.
• Coordinate housekeeping and routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure inventory levels of consumables and linens.
• Conduct property inspections for standards compliance.
• Respond to guest/owner inquiries via emails, calls, Slack, tickets.
• Travel frequently within the designated area to support operations.
• Participate in rotating On Call after hours.
