Job summary

Canon USA in Indiana is seeking an on-site technical specialist to provide on-going support to regional technicians and service agents, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver targeted training on adjustments and repairs. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, clear communication, and proactive information sharing across teams.

The position requires 4–6 years of related experience, an associate degree in mechanical or electronics, and technical certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSE.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent with 4–6 years related experience.
• Associate's degree in mechanical or electronics.
• Printer knowledge with testing/diagnostic applications.
• Ability to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Willingness to obtain required security/clearances.
• Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSE desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-going technical, on-site and phone support to regional Canon USA technicians and service agents to troubleshoot highly complex hardware, firmware and workflow problems.
• Provide regional instruction on adjustments, repairs, upgrades and troubleshooting procedures.
• Create, organize and disseminate information for engineers to perform duties more efficiently.
• Maintain/update problem records and escalate resolved/unresolved issues to Product support as needed.
• Manage regional FCO database for compliance and timely installation/disposition.
• Collaborate with Product support on information sharing and best practices.
• Accomplish special projects as assigned by the regional service Director.
