Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Carmel, IN to perform on-site and shop maintenance of Canon-supported products, delivering excellent customer service and reliability. You will travel to customer sites, complete the PDIF onboarding, and maintain equipment to meet service standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid drivers license. A transportation allowance is provided along with Canons comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the PDIF new-hire class.
Must be able to travel with valid drivers license.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time.

Responsibilities

Report to management on product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
Provide efficient, responsive field/shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
Support branch/district metric targets through sustained performance.
