Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Regional Business Director - Neuroscience in Dallas to lead, coach, and manage Sales Representatives within a defined geography. The RBD will build Ipsen’s regional sales organization and drive the region to meet or exceed goals while remaining compliant with company policies.

The role will develop the regional business plan and implement national strategies to deliver high-impact opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of biopharma sales experience with a minimum of 3 years in sales leadership for Neuroscience products.
• Experience with injectable medications and buy-and-bill pathways.
• Extensive knowledge of the payer landscape and access drivers in the region.
• Willingness to travel as required for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Neuroscience sales force activities within the assigned region, including recruiting, hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, and compliance with Ipsen’s corporate policies
• Meet or exceed the region’s sales targets and align field activities to brand strategic initiatives
• Analyze the region’s business and develop short- and long-term plans to drive sales growth
• Set clear expectations and evaluate compliance with regulatory standards and promotional policies
• Coach sales representatives to improve core sales competencies including product and reimbursement skills
• Support NSRs’ development and career aspirations
• Perform timely performance management and provide feedback
• Collaborate with Value & Access and Regional Reimbursement Managers to improve brand access
• Partner with Business Operations to optimize data input and resource deployment in the region
• Allocate and manage the region’s budget
• Build relationships with Key Thought Leaders in the region
• Establish cross-functional partnerships to achieve business objectives
• Set expectations for use of approved promotional programs
• Share competitive intelligence with brand teams and management
• Develop local opinion leader relationships to align objectives
• Utilize clinical information to address customer questions
