Job summary

Phoenix Contact USA is seeking a Network Sales Engineer to serve as the SME on EtherWAN products across Northern California, Oregon, and Washington. The role blends technical leadership with pre-sales support, solution design, and post-sales guidance to drive customer value through in-depth product knowledge.

The ideal candidate will travel up to 65% and bring strong networking expertise, OC/OT awareness, and presentation skills to collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Knowledge of IT vs OT networking environments.
• CCNA or equivalent certifications preferred.
• CRM, Visio, and MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Introduce EtherWAN products and value proposition to customers.
• Project manage field engagements with sales resources.
• Conduct network design guidance and training sessions.
• Assist in network audits and customer environment simulations.
• Maintain industry knowledge and communicate needs to stakeholders.
