Job summary

Phoenix Contact USA is seeking a Network Sales Engineer to act as SME for EtherWAN products, guiding pre-sales, solution design, and post-sales support across Northern California, Oregon & Washington.

The NSE collaborates with sales and engineering teams, delivers trainings, designs customer networks, and travels to client sites as needed. A BS in CS/engineering plus 3+ years customer-facing experience and CCNA or Networking certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP, routing protocols.
• CCNA or networking certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present EtherWAN value proposition to customers.
• Project manage field engagements with sales resources.
• Train customers on networking basics to advanced topics.
• Design networks and advise on EtherWAN products.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
