Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Network Sales Engineer to act as the SME on EtherWAN products across designated markets, bridging technical expertise with customer engagement. This regional role covers Northern California, Oregon, and Washington, supporting pre-sales, design, and post-sales guidance.

The NSE will train customers, conduct audits, and collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue while maintaining deep product knowledge and industry awareness. Travel up to 65% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Understanding of IT vs OT networking environments.
• CCNA certification or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 65%.
• Proficient with CRM, Visio, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Explain EtherWAN value propositions and applications to customers.
• Project manage field engagements with sales resources.
• Engage with partners and customers at field level.
• Conduct training on Networking from beginner to advanced levels.
• Perform network audits and assist in network design using EtherWAN products.
• Travel and visit customers to support pre- and post-sales activities.
