Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Network Sales Engineer to serve as the SME on EtherWAN products in Northern California, Oregon & Washington. You will bridge technical expertise with customer engagements to drive value and adoption, supporting pre-sales, solution design, and post-sales guidance.

In this regional role, you will train customers, perform network assessments, collaborate with sales teams, and travel up to 65% to customer sites and events, delivering clear, actionable technical guidance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Understanding of differences between IT and OT networking environments.
• CCNA certification and/or equivalent experiences.
• Technical certifications in networking are a plus.
• Candidate must be well organized, self-motivated, and capable of seeing projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead EtherWAN product introductions and articulate value proposition to prospects.
• Project manage field engagements alongside business development and sales resources.
• Collaborate with prospects, partners, and customers at field level.
• Conduct training on Networking from beginner to advanced levels and develop training materials for EtherWAN Academy.
• Perform network audits and assist customers in network design with EtherWAN products.
• Travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
