Job summary

Phoenix Contact USA is seeking a Network Sales Engineer (NSE) to act as the SME on EtherWAN products and applications across designated markets. The NSE will bridge technical expertise with customer engagement, supporting pre-sales, solution design, and post-sales guidance to drive value and product adoption.

You will train customers, collaborate with sales teams, and design solutions while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Understanding of IT vs OT networking environments.
• CCNA or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Introduce EtherWAN and communicate its value propositions to prospects.
• Project manage field engagements with business development and sales.
• Engage consistently with prospects, partners, and customers.
• Train on Networking and develop training materials for EtherWAN Academy.
• Audit customer networks and design EtherWAN product recommendations.
• Recreate client environments to test EtherWAN feasibility.
• Cross-reference third-party products with EtherWAN offerings.
• Log technical, market and customer data in CRM for transparency.
• Research and author technical and industry papers.
