Job summary

Phoenix Contact USA in Sacramento region seeks a Network Sales Engineer to act as SME on EtherWAN products, guiding pre-sales, solution design and post-sales technical support across Northern California, Oregon & Washington.

This regional role combines technical leadership with customer engagement to drive value, adoption, and revenue growth, while training customers and coordinating field engagements with sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years customer-facing experience.
• Understanding of IT vs OT networking environments.
• CCNA certification or equivalent experience.
• Technical certifications in networking are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Introduce EtherWAN products and communicate value propositions to prospects.
• Project manage field engagements with sales and BD resources.
• Conduct field engagements with prospects, partners and customers.
• Train on Networking from beginner to advanced levels via EtherWAN Academy
• Design networks and recommend EtherWAN products.
• Recreate client networks to test product feasibility.
• Cross-reference third-party products to EtherWAN offerings.
• Stay updated on industry trends and customer needs.
