Job summary

Phoenix Contact in Houston is seeking a Network Sales Engineer to serve as SME on EtherWAN products, technologies, and applications, bridging technical expertise with customer engagement. You will support pre-sales, design solutions, train customers, conduct network audits, and collaborate with sales, BDs, and partners while traveling up to 65%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Understanding of IT vs OT networking environments.
• Direct or Channel technical sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSI model, Layer 2/3 switching, STP, TCP/IP, and routing protocols; wireless/cellular is a plus.
• CCNA or equivalent certifications; Networking certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist stakeholders by introducing EtherWAN products and communicating value propositions.
• Project manage field engagements with business development and sales resources.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and prospects at field level.
• Train on Networking from beginner to advanced levels and create training materials.
