Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead operations for multiple Class A properties and a high-performing team. The role emphasizes driving performance, profitability, and client satisfaction across a regional portfolio.

The ideal candidate has extensive multifamily property management experience, strong financial acumen, and a history of mentoring staff. A state license and HUD knowledge are preferred. Willingness to travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of property management experience required.
• Three to five years of direct management experience required.
• Prior experience with Yardi or other property management system required.
• Understanding of HUD and/or loan assistance process preferred.
• Knowledge of P&L statements, GLs, budgeting, etc. required.
• Three to five years of ownership-level responsibilities of resident rental lifecycle activities required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operations of several properties including resident satisfaction and retention, full resident lifecycle activities (lease administration, rental collection, delinquency management), property P&L, and property marketing.
• Ensures a high level of client and resident satisfaction.
• Leads recruiting, mentoring, and performance management of associates.
• Creates strategic marketing plans with Avenue5 marketing team to attract and retain residents.
• Manages annual property budget, P&L statements, general ledger and reporting for owners and leadership.
• Inspects properties regularly to maintain curb appeal, operations, and market positioning.
• Responds to escalated resident issues and liaises with residents and corporate on maintenance enforcement.
• Oversees safety records, loss claims, and risk management initiatives.
