Job summary

Fairway Management is seeking Roaming Maintenance Technicians to support regional properties. You will perform routine maintenance, including carpentry, painting, and basic repairs, while ensuring curb appeal and safety compliance. Regular travel is required, with potential travel reimbursements.

You will also train staff and assist with inspections. This role requires 5 years in multifamily/ commercial maintenance, HVAC EPA Type II, and broad trades knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• HVAC EPA Type II Certification.
• 1–2 years of verifiable HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and installation experience.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and building operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain curb appeal of properties, buildings and common areas.
• Prioritize work orders for assigned properties and lead make-ready processes.
• Perform rough carpentry, painting, and basic equipment or facility repairs.
• Prepare for local/state and investor inspections, ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance.
• Be available for on-call after hours and travel regionally; assist neighboring properties as needed.
• Train assigned staff on company systems, building systems and safety training.
• Prepare properties for REAC or INSPIRE inspections.
