Job summary

Fairway Management, a division of JES Holdings, seeks roaming maintenance technicians to support multiple apartment communities across the region. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to repairs, and help with state and investor inspections while maintaining curb appeal and safety compliance.

The role requires travel within the region, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. An EPA HVAC Type II certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• HVAC EPA Type II Certification.
• 1–2 years HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and installation experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and investor regulations.
• Prioritize work orders for assigned properties and maintain curb appeal.
• Prepare for state agency and investor inspections; ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Lead make‑ready processes including painting and carpet cleaning.
• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance checks and handle after‑hours on‑call duties.
• Travel regionally to support properties and assist neighboring sites as needed.
• Train assigned staff on building systems and safety procedures.
• Report safety concerns to management and respond to emergencies promptly.
