Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking Roaming Maintenance Techs to support regional properties with routine maintenance, including carpentry, painting, and basic repairs.

The role requires travel within the region and coordination with regional staff to maintain curb appeal and safety. The ideal candidate has 5 years of multifamily maintenance experience, HVAC EPA Type II certification, and broad knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.

Qualifications

• 5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• HVAC EPA Type II Certification is required.
• 1–2 years of verifiable HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and installation experience.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional maintenance support and perform routine duties including rough carpentry, painting, and basic repairs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and investor regulations and policies.
• Prepare properties for state agency and investor inspections and ensure compliance.
• Lead make-ready process with unit turns, including painting and carpet cleaning.
• Travel daily within the region and be available for after-hours on-call needs.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks and assist with emergencies.
