Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking Roaming Maintenance Techs to support regional properties, perform routine maintenance including rough carpentry, painting, and basic repairs, and prepare for state and investor inspections.

The role requires regular travel within the region and travel expenses may be reimbursed. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 5 years of multifamily or related maintenance experience, and HVAC/EPA certification.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• HVAC EPA Type II Certification.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and investor regulations.
• Must be willing to travel daily within region.
• Prepare for state agency and investor inspections; ensure OSHA and EPA property compliance.
• Prioritize work orders for assigned properties.
• Maintain curb appeal of properties, buildings and common areas.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Lead make-ready process with unit turns (painting, carpet cleaning, cleaning).
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Travel to and participate in regional/corporate training.
