Job summary

WITTENSTEIN North America is seeking a field-based Sales professional to expand the customer base in the Greater Cincinnati area. You will manage OEM and distributor accounts, promote motion control products, and forecast key accounts with a focus on large projects.

The role requires a strong technical background in servo automation and a proven track record in meeting sales targets. Expect up to 75% travel within the territory and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Mechanical or Electrical specialization, or Math/Physics with automation experience.
• 5+ years in industrial automation / servo automation with solid technical foundation.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets in the Greater Cincinnati area through direct and affiliate channels.
• Grow OEM and distributor accounts, promoting motion control products and services.
• Forecast key accounts accurately and provide timely updates.
• Negotiate delivery, pricing and warranties within management guidelines.
• Conduct customer education and product information meetings.
• Prepare price quotes and written presentations.
• Maintain CRM records and timely expense reports.
• Travel up to 75% within territory.
