Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing properties within a defined region. You will ensure operational and financial success across multiple sites, with a focus on LIHTC and Section 8 compliance.

The role requires travel within the region, at least four days per week, and leadership of property managers and staff to meet revenue and occupancy goals while maintaining Fair Housing compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of management experience in the industry.
• Expert knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, and Section 8 compliance.
• Skilled in budget planning for a large portfolio and leadership.
• Strong communication, financial, and negotiation abilities.
• Experience with multi-family property management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Travel to sites within region a minimum of 4 days per week.
• Hire, train and supervise property managers and staff.
• Perform performance appraisals for property teams.
• Ensure compliance deadlines and proper paperwork filing.
• Conduct quarterly site visits and audits of on-site teams.
• Oversee finances, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Oversee leasing and marketing to maximize occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and policies.
• Provide leadership to on-site managers and staff.
