Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Regional Manager for Affordable Housing in California. You will oversee operations across a portfolio of housing communities, ensuring compliance with LIHTC/Section 8, managing staff, leasing, and maintenance while driving financial performance and risk management.

Travel up to 50% may be required. The role requires affordable housing experience (LIHTC), prior regional management experience, and familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Affordable housing experience including LIHTC.
• Prior experience as a Regional Manager.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a housing community portfolio.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and compliance.
• Ensure LIHTC and Section 8 policies are followed and regulatory reporting is accurate.
• Develop annual budgets and provide monthly income/expense evaluations.
• Travel approximately 25–50% of time for property visits and trainings.
