Job summary

JES Holdings' Fairway Management division (FWM) is seeking a regional manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing properties. The role requires LIHTC and Section 8 expertise and travel within the region for at least four days each week.

You will lead property managers and maintenance staff, ensure compliance and budget performance, and collaborate with corporate teams to optimize occupancy and profitability across multiple communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of management experience in multi-site housing.
• Expert level knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, and Section 8 compliance.
• Skilled in budget planning for large portfolios and leading teams.
• Strong communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with property management software (OneSite or RealPage preferred).
• Willing to travel regionally (minimum 4 days/week).

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain property management strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Travel to sites within region a minimum of 4 days a week.
• Hire, train and supervise property managers and maintenance staff for the properties in your portfolio.
• Perform all performance appraisals for property management personnel in your portfolio.
• Oversee finances and budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Oversee leasing and marketing to maximize occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to on-site property managers and staff.
• Collaborate with corporate teams on strategic initiatives.
