Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Temporary Regional Manager, Affordable Housing in California. The role oversees a portfolio of affordable housing communities, ensuring compliance, budgeting, leasing, and staff management while maintaining high operational standards.

Ideal candidate has LIHTC experience and a track record in regional management, with ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and travel up to half of the year as required.

Qualifications

• Affordable housing experience including LIHTC.
• Prior experience as a Regional Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to operate on-site software systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the housing community portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing and regulatory requirements.
• Develop annual operating budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor leasing, financial reporting, and staff performance.
• Lead staffing, training, and coaching to achieve goals.
• Travel 25–50% of time for property visits and meetings.
