Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Regional Business Director for Long Term Care to lead LTC commercial activities across a designated geography. You will establish a team of LTC Account Managers, execute marketing strategies, and drive a successful product launch with a strategic focus on patient care and outcomes.

The role requires field leadership, strong coaching skills, and collaboration with Market Access. Travel will be required to manage relationships and drive regional performance.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of field leadership or payer account management experience.
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales leadership with 3–5 years in first-line leadership roles.
• Proven coaching ability and track record of developing others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise LTC-focused regional operations including hiring, coaching and account manager development.
• Develop and implement strategic regional plans balancing live and virtual interactions.
• Drive regional performance and coach direct reports to achieve business potential.
• Partner with Market Access team to ensure pull-through and knowledge of market access dynamics in LTC settings.
