Job summary

Signify is seeking a Regional Specification Sales Manager to drive specification activities for Cooper Lighting Solutions, home-based near Chicago, IL, or Minneapolis, MN. You will lead a team, influence design decisions, and secure Signify/CLS product inclusion in project specs.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in specification sales within lighting or building tech and a relevant engineering/architecture degree. A target bonus of 35% is offered along with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
4+ years in specification sales or business development in lighting or building tech.
Leadership of technical teams and stakeholder engagement.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Professional lighting design certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach a team of lighting agents, driving influence and customer excellence.
Define market influence strategy to position Signify/CLS in design and tech.
Oversee specification activities across project designs, tender docs and standards.
Build relationships with architects, lighting designers, and engineers; represent Signify at events.
Identify spec gaps and relay feedback to offer management for new products.
