You will lead a team of lighting agents, drive specification sales, and build strong relationships with architects and engineers to influence project designs.

The role emphasizes market strategy, thought leadership in lighting technology, and collaboration with design firms to secure inclusion in tender documents and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of specification sales or business development in lighting/building technology.
• Professional certifications in lighting design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of lighting agents. Build a collaborative culture focused on influence and customer excellence.
• Define the market influence strategy to position Signify/CLS as a thought leader in lighting design and technology.
• Set priorities for target segments, key design firms, and emerging applications like connected lighting and human-centric design.
• Oversee specification activities to secure inclusion of Signify/CLS products in designs, tenders, and standards; track conversions and impact.
• Identify specifier talent, build relationships with architects and lighting designers; represent Signify in industry forums to strengthen brand.
• Identify specification gaps, analyze product gaps, and provide feedback to offer management to develop new products.
• Engage with engineers and consultants to ensure alignment with project requirements and design standards.
