Walmart is seeking an experienced Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R and building maintenance across the local regional market. You will coach a team of technicians, ensure code compliance, and work with Store Managers to optimize facility performance.

Role requires an active HVAC/R license, EPA certification, and 3–5 years in facilities or mechanical maintenance with strong leadership and communication skills. Travel is ~50%+ in the region.

Qualifications

• Requires active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in your state.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• 3–5 years in facilities management, construction management, or mechanical maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across locations.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to address facility needs.
• Use reporting and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors and ensure licensing compliance.
• Secure permits and conduct inspections per codes; drive safety and quality standards.
• Travel approximately 50%+ within the region.
