Job summary

Walmart is hiring an experienced Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R across the local region. You will manage a team, ensure safety and efficiency, and partner with Store Managers to optimize facility performance.

Requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA certification, plus 3–5 years in facilities management. Travel ~50% within the region.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state
• EPA Universal Certification
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or a related field
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge
• Leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop others

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across your assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections in accordance with mechanical and building codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
