Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R and building maintenance across the local region. You will coach a team of technicians, manage licensing and safety compliance, and partner with Store Managers to ensure reliable facility performance.

Candidates must hold an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA Certification, with 3–5 years in facilities management or related fields. Travel ~50% is required.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of facilities management, construction management or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge and leadership ability.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to address needs.
• Use reporting and root-cause analysis to improve reliability and performance.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and manage licensing/permits.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
