Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R and building maintenance across a regional market. You will manage a team of technicians, ensure compliance, and partner with store leaders to improve facility performance.

The role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license, EPA certification, and 3–5 years in facilities/engineering fields. Travel is 50%+ within the local region.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• 3–5 years of facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Secure permits and coordinate inspections per codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety and quality.
