Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed HVAC/R Facilities Manager to lead facilities maintenance operations across a regional market. You will manage a team of technicians, oversee HVAC/R and building upkeep, and partner with store managers to ensure safe, efficient facilities.

Requirements include an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license, EPA certification, and 3–5 years in facilities or related fields. Travel is 50%+. Competitive compensation plus a $5K sign-on bonus and benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years in facilities management, construction, mechanical maintenance, or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge.
• Leadership, coaching and people-management skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-service abilities.
• Experience with root-cause and equipment breakdown analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services to identify and resolve needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors; maintain licenses and permits.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
