Walmart is seeking a Licensed HVAC/R Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance operations across a local region. The role includes leading a team of technicians, ensuring HVAC/R and building systems reliability, and coordinating with store managers and service leaders.

The candidate must hold an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA certification, with 3–5 years of facilities management and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or a related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge and communication skills.
• Leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across your assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections in accordance with mechanical and building codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
